About Us
Mountainview Inn was started by longtime friends with the hopes of bringing people together. It has become a goal to bring others together to feel the compassion and love of fellow guests, whether it's sitting around the fireplace telling stories or outside on the patio gazing upon the clear skies. Hosting seasonal community dinners and other events as well as being a place to spend the night is the ultimate people connector. We hope that our passion for people, community, love and friendship is contagious to everyone that comes to the Mountainview Inn.
Our Story
Started in 2025, The Mountainview Inn became a goal when Owner Joel fell in love with Paonia and all that it had to offer. He wanted to share that experience with others, so he purchased the property with plans to build it into a bed and breakfast. After reconnecting with longtime friend Chef Dan, the concept become more than that, it became a mission. Dan and his wife Ana arranged to move out to Paonia to start this adventure in the spring and the Inn was opened shortly after. While we love cooking for people, making cocktails at night or planning excursions with guests, the real reward is the people we meet and the relationships we form. We lead with love and hope you feel it.
